Kudu

The kudu, with its spiraling horns and sleek build, is one of Africa’s most graceful antelopes. Found in woodlands and savannahs, kudus are browsers that feed on leaves, shoots, and fruits, making them key players in maintaining vegetation balance. Male kudus are particularly striking, with horns that can grow up to six feet long, often used in displays of dominance.

Despite their size, kudus are masters of camouflage, blending into their surroundings to evade predators like lions and leopards. Their agility and ability to leap over obstacles make them elusive and hard to catch. However, habitat loss and hunting pose threats to their populations, underscoring the importance of conservation efforts.
